Doug Setters is a singer/guitarist who presents an inviting mix of great songs along with some of his original tunes for a unique live music experience. Doug plays restaurants, municipal events, special events, festivals, wine shops, breweries and more. After a career in the insurance industry, he’s now pursuing his passion for music.

Doug covers several artists, from Sinatra to Johnny Cash. It's all about the songs for him. According to Doug, songs are a medium for story telling. “Story telling with songs has been going on in pretty much all the world's cultures since the beginning. Songs still inform and connect us as only great tunes can,” says Doug.

At his performances, a typical evening may start with jazz standards, then drift to the blues, Americana, country, and a few original songs. Doug plays something for everybody. Doug has had the good fortune to acquire a collection of interesting and special guitars including vintage arch top guitars.

His excellent sound equipment can accommodate any small to medium sized venue. Doug can be seen playing solo or adding additional musician when needed depending on venue and price point.
